What do you have now ?
The rate at which people are getting anxious, tired, depressed, and frustrated these days has been on an increase. I almost lost 3 of my friends to these things, but thank God they picked up once they discovered the solution to their problems. That's what I will be sharing here.
I have discovered the true cause of depression, anxiety, and frustration. I found out that everyone I have spoken to or counseled as regards this issue, all gave similar replies. They were all focusing on the wrong details of their lives.
They were paying so much attention to all the things they couldn't or have not been able to do, they were focusing so much on what they have not been able to get right, and they were absorbed in all the things they couldn't control. They had lost sight of all their strengths and were now focusing on their weaknesses. Such focus will only end up draining strength and hope from you. I understand that you may not have everything in control now. I get that things may not be working out how you planned it and you just have not been able to make it work out though you have tried. But paying so much attention to it will add no solution to the problems, it will only make them look bigger.
Have you thought about the things you have right now? What about the things you have control over? And the things that interest you? You have got strengths no matter how small they seem, appreciate them and begin to pay attention to them. Because all the solutions you need will stem from what you have at hand now.
The future you need, and the change you desire will stem from what you have now.
Even God called light out of darkness, he created man's body out of the dust He had at that moment. And when He needed to create a woman, he took the material from what He had at the moment (man's rib). You know the story of how Jesus solved the problem of hunger right? Yes, the disciples were already getting tired and frustrated when Jesus asked them to feed 5000 people. They lost sight of what they had at the moment (5 loaves and 2 fishes), it took Jesus to ask them, "what do you have?" And when they told Him and handed it over to him, he multiplied it.
'What do you have now is the question. You have been paying so much attention to all the things you don't have, why not step up and discover what you have and begin to appreciate and use them, trusting God that he will multiple them.
It could be a gift or talent, it could an area of strength, it could be something you are really interested in, it could be a skill, or it could even be one person that cares about you.
Sometimes you may need to look deep within yourself and discover what you have. But whatever it is, all I am telling you today is that the miracle you are looking for would come from there.
It's understandable Why the devil has been making you pay less attention to what you have because He knows that's where your miracles lie. Do away with the guilt and shame and condemnation. Step up and begin to appreciate what you have today and you will see God multiple it
